Hello, my name is Tom, office certified master mechanic out of Redding, Pennsylvania. And today I’m going to show you how to put air in your tire. Anytime you do, you think you’ve got your tire a little bit low, the best thing to do is just check it with a tire pressure gauge. Um, it should be checked every time you stopped to put gas in your car. And most of us don’t have time to do that. But you have a good chance to every once in a while before you went on a little trip, just push us a little gauge on here. This one’s reading about 27 pounds. Recommended tire pressure is always on the side of the tire. She’s embarked in a little block similar to this here. If you don’t find it on the tire, you can find it on inside of the driver’s side door on the label as correct tire pressure for your vehicle.
Now when you pull into your local gas station to have a little pump there, sometimes it’s for a quarter 50 cents. What you’ll do is you’ll, you’ll turn it on, push it up exactly the same way as this tire pressure gauge goes on your valve stem. You push it in here, fill it up periodically. You want to stop, put your gauge on it. Check it. This one here, 44 pounds. You just fill it up till you get here. You’re 44 pounds on. Your gauge is somewhere right around here. Put your cap back on. Once you get it up, the pressure and you’re good to go.
